STEVE COLLIER AWARD.

Steve Collier was a trustee for Bourne Free for many years and a key part of the Bournemouth LGBTQIA+ community. Sadly in 2010 Steve passed away after a short battle with cancer. In memory of Steve and in dedication to his impact on the Bourne Free family the Steve Collier award was created in 2011. This annual award celebrates a group, charity or individual who have made an outstanding positive impact in the LGBTQIA+ community in that year. The award is selected by the Bourne Free Trustees and Steve’s partner Romulo Bernadino, it is presented on the main stage of Bourne Free every year by our Chair.
